On 15 October 2026, KRAFTON India publicly used the name BGMI Air for the project previously called BGMI Lite. Publisher-linked posts described the change as a new identity for the same lighter battlegrounds experience, not as a second game.

What did not change
No exact launch date was bundled with the rename. Pre-registration remained the live store action. This site still does not have a verified APK download URL.
