BGMI Air is being positioned for phones that struggle with the full BGMI install. The numbers below come from public spec sheets and coverage that attributes them to KRAFTON. They can still change, and Google Play on your phone is the live check.

RAM and GPU figures are reported as publisher-confirmed in Indian tech coverage. They can change before launch. Check the official Google Play listing on your own phone for the live compatibility check.
Enough to install and play on Smooth. Expect heat and dips in busy circles.
Better headroom for 60 FPS, extra maps, and longer sessions.
2 GB RAM is the figure most public minimum sheets use. That is the “can it launch?” bar, not a smoothness promise. Close background apps, skip HD packs you will not use, and expect Smooth graphics.
3 GB RAM sits in the practical middle. It is above the floor and below the comfort band. For a daily driver on a budget phone, this is the more realistic starting point than 2 GB.
4 GB RAM is in the recommended range, often grouped with 6 GB for 60 FPS play and extra map modules. You still need a capable GPU and cooling. RAM alone does not buy a stable late-game circle.
Some earlier Indian coverage cited 1.5 GB RAM and an Adreno 306 GPU as the floor. If those two tables disagree with Google Play on your device, trust the store.
That is why the lighter client exists: a smaller first download and less RAM pressure than full BGMI. It is still a 100-player shooter. Minimum GPU guidance is not a smoothness promise on every budget phone. Network, heat, and background apps will matter as much as the RAM line in a spec table.
KRAFTON has not published a public, model-by-model supported devices list for BGMI Air. The live compatibility check is the official Play Store listing on your own Android phone. If Google Play hides the listing or marks the device unsupported, that result outranks any blog table — including this one.
